Lovely flowers from home for Craig and me, french dinner at the restaurant, surprise brunch and lots of spoiling. Too bad birthdays only come once a year...Craig made this awesome rock climbing cake - Marc and Catherine you would have been proud of his cake decorating skills. It had little climbing men, climbing ropes and even chalk marks!

Hey, this is in response to your last comment on B's blog (I guess we can't 'reply' to blog comments!): Actually, Mom's garden is not quite as nice as when you were here - I did what I could, but it wasn't enough. Tip (learned from Chris Stesky): have a garden patch to transfer perennials you planted in the main garden last year that just didn't quite work. Otherwise, it is very hard to tear things out and try something new!
