We went out on Saturday with Ben & Jo and Newfie Steve for our sunset fish charter adventure into the blue water of Darwin harbour.

It was lovely - complete with sunset, storm, a few drinks and fishing.
Lis catching a big one...
Not!
It's just the tide pulling on our heavy gear.
:(
Ben and Joe
We were out to catch snapper and jewfish
Note: here we are waiting to reach the next fishing spot, and not just slacking off!
Unfortunately for us, there was not a lot biting.
An exhausted Steve finally pulls in his catch
And then he caught ANOTHER one!
(There rest of us were a bit jealous.)
Other than Steve's fish not a lot of eatable fish was actually caught - Craig caught an eel, Steve caught a catfish, and others picked up a couple of little sharks. Good thing Steve doesn't have a freezer so Craig and I had to offer to take care of the fish for him...
All in all, a lovely Easter Saturday afternoon, and MMmm... fresh fish for Easter dinner!
Tales of South Australian Wines, cont'd
(see previous blog entry for first installment)
We continue our way through our lovely collection of SA wines.
Earlier in March we opened the Chateau Tanunda Shiraz. (see previous blog entry for notes on the Chateau)
It was okay, but sadly not nearly as good in Darwin as the Yalumba one we enjoyed previously.
This weekend, after a relaxing Good Friday we finished up the day with a McLaren Vale red - The Rogue from Nepenthe winery. Dad, you might remember that we enjoyed its brother in our backyard in Adelaide.
Quick reminder of Nepenthe from previous trips

Well, it was still very nice in Darwin!
