Mom/Mum and baby came through a long, tiring ~15 hour labour well, though E managed to visit three wards, get 2 nights in hospital, IV antibiotics, fluids, catheter and sutures. Sadly not quite the 4 hour hospital stay I'd planned for, but interesting to finally have a bit of a look at life on the other side of the hospital bed!
Madelaina (or Maddy) had no troubles at all and caught onto the feeding and outside world thing quite well.
1st week home
On day 2 we got to bring Madelaina home where we enjoyed getting used to this strange little feeding, crying, sleeping, pooping creature in our house.

With frequent home visits from the midwife team we settled in well with our scrawny little rabbit.

And enjoy the daily wonders and changes of introducing our new little girl to this world!
