Fishing - Darwin style
The weather was good, the tide was right, so tools down for the day and lets go fishing. With everyone keen, it was a early start the next day at 4:30 am (which no one complained about), the boat was loaded so it was just a quick hook up at the shed then straight down to the Dinah Beach boat ramp. It took a bit over an hour to get to Brad's "secret spot", north towards the Tiwi Islands.

Getting set up, almost there right on sunrise

Justo with the first fish, a little Golden Snapper

This is how it's done boys....

Justo and his Jew fish

Mark's turn now

Jamie got his first ever Jewie as well

That's a better goldy......

Brad got stuck into a Spanish Mackerel, it was a good size at about 1.4 m

After a few hours the Jewies were coming in thick and fast, we had our bag limit by the day's end.

...this is how you do it Jamie.

My turn for a mac, only 1.1 m
another mac coming in

Nice photo Justo, pity you didn't catch this one...
All in all it was a good day's fishing; 10 Jewies, 3 Golden Snapper and 3 Spanish Mackerel plus the usual sharks, cat fish and moonies which all got thrown back.
