Umbrawarra Gorge
Now that we have a 4WD we were finally able to get down to Umbrawarra Gorge for a lovely camping weekend in May 2012. Beautiful spot with great swimming for Maddy, nice walking and an okay camping site.
Maddy is really starting to enjoy the camping experience and beginning to help out with the set up and camping rituals.

A beautiful gorge for walking and swimming. Although I think you have to get there earlier in the season before the water dries up too much. There were also some people rock climbing here but we didn't have our gear.

All tuckered out from a busy day Maddy is clearly enjoying the R&R aspect of camping. Hopefully this means she'll sleep well...
Beautiful gorges and waterholes are great, but simple river crossings can often be just as many hours of fun!
And that's one more item off our Northern Territory To Do list!
