We took an extra long weekend to visit our friends Cathy & Alex over in Perth.

A few days down in the Margaret River region was a good way to end our visit to the west.

 This is what the wet season is all about :-)...

Weekend trip out to Jabiru to catch up with Andrea and hopefully see a good lightning storm over the Kakadu escarpment. 

We got a storm however the lightning wasn't much, plenty of rain though.

Cahill's Crossing on the East Alligator River

Christmas time and a lot of pressies for you-know-who! It was a lot of fun as pressie opening went on for 3 days - to accommodate baby naps, post night shift sleeps and required snack breaks.

Mid January and it was time to pack up house and find another rental. Maddy got right into the cleaning as well.

Our new rental - 3 brm townhouse in Nightcliff. Great location, only a few hundred metres from the foreshore and Sunday markets.

Craig and I had a birthday cake 'cake-off' - both were a disaster, but Maddy still enjoyed the event!
